PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the smell of the armpit easily and safely, by administering an antibiotic or applying it to the offected part in an amount much less than that of common use. CONSTITUTION:For example, 0.025-0.05g of sulfisomidine, sulfamethizole, sulfamonomethoxine, etc. is used internally daily or applied or sprayed to the armpit in a form of about 2wt% ointment, powder, or a tincture. The amount used may be adjusted properly according to circumstances. The smell of the armpit is caused by the persipiration ingredients secreted at the armpit, which give out an offensive smell of its own by action of the microorganisms on the skin. The application of antibiotics suppresses the activities of microorganisms and prevents the smell of the armpit. |
