PURPOSE:To obtain low hydrogen and high toughness and enable good workability to be obtained by containing Al3O3, SiO2, CaO, CaF2, etc. at the specified ratios and satisfying the conditions of the specified two formulas. CONSTITUTION:The main components contain Al2O3; 30-45%, SiO3; 10-30%, CaO; 6-22%, CaF2; 5-18%, TiO2; 3-15%, MnO; 7% or less and MgO; 5% or less in wt% and satisfy the following 1, 2 formulas. 1) CaO%+CaF2%=12-32%, 2) basicity (BL)=-0.2-1.3, where molar fractions are expressed as N, BL= 6.05NCaO-6.31NSiO2-4.97NTiO2+4.8NMnO+4NMgO+3.4NFeO-0.2NA2O3 (where CaF2 is converted and included to CaO). |
