PURPOSE:To hold the temperature of a constant temperature flow cell constant by providing heat dissipation efficiency from lowering even when the ambient temperature of a heat sink is high, by using the vaporing head of water or a volatile liquid for heat dissipation of the heat sink. CONSTITUTION:Peltier element 4 heats or cools copper block 3 in order to hold the temperature of constant-temperature flow cell 2 constant. Heat sink 7, make of a porous material of gummetal where a liquid can permeate, is provided in contact with the dissipation side of Peltier element 4. The tip of extension part 7' of heat sink 7 is dipped in water 9 in cup 8. Therefore, water 9 in cup 8 rises permeating heat sink extension part 7' and further heat sink 7 to reach the disipation side of Peltier element 4, and heat from Peltier element 4 is used to vapor water in heat sink 7; as the ambient temperature of heat sink 7 rises, the heat dissipation effect of heat sink 7 is facilitated, so that the temperature of the flow cell can be kept constant. |
