REMOTE CIRCUIT BRACKETING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable the bracketing test from a remote place by inserting the bracketing device which is detachable to an optional one of a number of bracketing springs into the telephone circuit near the main control panel of the bracketing device via the bracketing element which functions mechanically by the remote control. CONSTITUTION:Bracketing device 41 is inserted to the middle of link cables 5-a and 5-b. Thus the telephone circuit features such constitution as cable 1 led from the external line-test repelling unit 2-jumper line 8-terminal plate 6-link cable 5-a- bracketing spring 14 of device 41-link cable 5-b-arrester repelling unit 4-cable 3 led from the intra-office unit each. As a result, the control command is transmitted to miscellaneous control unit 39 via repeating cable 43 and by the operation of control unit 42 which is distant away from device 41, and then bracketing element 18 is inserted to bracketing spring 14 at the corresponding circuit position. As a result, an individual connection is possible for the external line side and the intra-office line side to the test circuit within test device 13. Thus the bracketing test is possible for the telephone circuit both outside and inside the station.
