PURPOSE:To improve volume productivity by disposing the plug to be manufactured and a rotary tool within the same quide jig, rotating both and mechining a micro-hole of high accuracy at the center position of the plug outside diameter. CONSTITUTION:A rotary tool mounting jig 4 is mounted with a rotary tool 5 and is so made as to permit its adjustment. The fitting condition of a guide jig 1, ball bearing 2, jit 4 and jig 1, bearing 2' and connector plug 3 is adjusted to become press fit. First, the jig 4 is rotated and by observing the revolution run-out of the high magnifications or the like, the tool is fixed in the position where it does not cause run-out, thence the plug 3 is rotated and the tool 5 is smoothly fed to machine a micro-hole in the plug. Here, working accuracy will be higher if the revolutions of the plug 3 and jig 4 are made mutually in the opposite directions, several kinds of jigs are used and the roundness of the inside surface of the jig and the sphericity of the ball bearings are enhanced. Thereby, the volume productivity of the connector puls is enhanced. |
