<p>PURPOSE:To improve performance of a seal packing and also to prolong its life by feeding a lubricating liquid into a chamber enclosing the seal packing with a lubricating pump composed coaxially with a driving unit. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating pump 22 is installed coaxially with a rotary shaft (crankshaft) 3 of a driving unit 1, the discharge side of the lubricating pump 22 is connected to a feeding port 20 for a lubricating liquid by way of a line 23, the suction side of the lubricating pump 22 is connected to a tank 24 for the lubricating liquid like lubricating oil, cooling liquid or heat insulating liquid by way of a line 25, and a line 26 coming from a port 21 for extracting the lubricating liquid is connected to the tank 24. The lubricating liquid is ready for circulation into a chamber 19 of a sealing unit between the driving unit 1 and a pumping unit 7 by driving the pumping unit 7 through the driving unit 1, therefore an operation of a piston rod 6 is smoothed and also the performance of a seal packing can be improved.</p> |
