Access rungs or handles of polyethylene with aluminium reinforcement - for use where electrical insulation and corrosion-resistance is required

Rung or safety handle comprises a broad 'U' shaped tube of polyethylene with a hollow aluminium core and anchorage studs on each end having annular ribs for a firm grip in a drilled or cast concrete support. Suitable for use in vessels, shafts, chimneys etc, requiring components resistant to corrosion and insulated to inhibit conductivity or sparking. Pref the surface of the tubular polyethylene body features longitudinal ribs, for enchanced grip. The anchorage studs are a force fit on to the tubular rung/handle bodies and the ribs on the studs are oblique to facilitate insertion into and resist extraction from drilled holes of slightly less dia than the overall rib dia.
