PURPOSE:To prepare the partially crosslinked title composition suitable for the molding of a large-sized, thick-walled article, by the dynamic heat-treatment of a peroxide-crosslinkable olefin copolymer rubber, a peroxide-crosslinkable polyolefin resin, etc. in the presence of an organic peroxide. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic elastomer is prepared by the dynamic heat-treatment of a composition composed of (A) 50-90 parts by weitht of a peroxide- crosslinkable olefin copolymer rubber, (B) 50-10 parts of a peroxide-crosslinkable polyolefin resin, (C) 0-100 parts of a peroxide-non-crosslinkable hydrocarbon rubber and/or mineral oil softener, (D) 0.05-1%, based on (A)+(B)+(C), of an organic peroxide, (E) 0.07-2%, based on (A)+(B)+(C), of a crosslinking agent, and (F) 10-100 parts of a peroxide-non-crosslinkable polyolefin resin. |
