PURPOSE:To prepare a thermoplastic elastomer suitable for the extrusion or injection molding of a large-sized, thick-walled article, by compounding a crosslinked ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer rubber with an olefin resin. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic elastomer composed of (A) 90-50wt% of a crosslinked rubber obtained by the dynamic heat-treatment of a copolymer rubber comprising ethylene units and 4-10C alpha-olefin units, and having an (ethylene/alpha-olefin) ratio of 80/20-95/5 and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.6-6dl/g, with a crosslinking agent, and (B) 10-50wt% of a polyolefin resin. |
