Safety system for lift stabilisation - uses cable suspended from oscillating lever and attached to ground via pulleys

The lift safety system provides cabin stabilisation in the stationary position and during braking and up or down movement. This system comprises a cable attached to a lift cage by a rack and is suspended by a pulley attached to an oscillating lever with an adjustable counterweight. A shoulder ensures that the cable is centred in an orifice when the line is lowered. The lower cable end is attached tothe ground to form a loop which travels via a pulley and demultiplication gearing on the rear of the cabin. These are controlled from within the cabin by the operator and cause the lever to operate the braking and safety circuits.
