Electrodynamic vibrator for aircraft industry - has flat radial aluminium blades attached to central cylindrical section and with cut=outs for supporting moving coil assembly

The electrodynamic vibrator produces axially pure transmission forces using a moving excitation coil assembly. The latter comprises four flat radial blades (71-74) of aluminium which are attached to a central cylindrical section (6). The upper end fo the central section is drilled and threaded to support objects being vibrated. A coil (4) comprises a winding of several layers separated by insulating tape. The supply wires (16, 17) for the coil are fixed to the blades with araldite. The periphery of each blade has cutouts (91, 92) which are symmetrical w.r.t. the coil. Flexible rings glued to the polar piece engage with the cutouts to provide guidance and support.
