A seat is provided with a removable pad or pads 30 disposed between the main seat cushion section 6 and its support 2 and/or between the main back-rest cushion section 15 and its support 18, the cushion sections 6, 15 being disposed between separate side cushion sections 4, 5 and 16, 17 non- releasably connected to the seat frame. A cushion cover 7 has extensions 8, which may be elasticated, provided with rows of snap fasteners 9, 10 selectively engageable with co-operating elements 13, 14 on the seat frame. The brack-rest support 18 comprises a single strip of elastic fabric. The seat cushion support comprises elastic straps 2 secured at their ends by brackets 3 to the seat frame 1. The pads may be flat or wedge shaped. Other embodiments describe various alternative dispositions and combinations of pads. |
