[Also in Division C2] Herbicide compositions contain as the active ingredient 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives of the formula wherein R 1 is alkyl or aryl, X is oxygen or sulphur, R 2 is hydrogen or alkyl, R 3 is alkyl cycloalkyl, alkylcycloalkyl, or alkenyl, and if desired, other herbicides such as, sodium cyanate, sodium chlorate, aminotriazole, chlorine substituted phenoxy fatty acid derivatives, substituted urea derivatives, substituted triazine derivatives, substituted carbamate derivatives, phenol derivatives, benzoic acid derivatives and phenylacetic acid derivatives, or insecticides such as p,p'-dichlorodiphenyl trichloroethane, benzene hexachloride, endrin, dieldrin, chlordane, heptachlor, 1-naphthyl-N- methy carbamate, malathion or diazinon, and/ or pesticides such as kasugemycin, or tetramethylthiuran disulphide, a n-nematodicide such as N-methyldithiocarbamate, and/or a fertilizer such as ammonium sulphate or urea. |
