The golf trolley has a chassis (1) with coaxial mountings for the two wheels (6, 7) at either end of a horizontal frame. The latter encloses an electric drive motor (8, 9) for each wheel and with the supply battery (23) suspended beneath the frame. A horizontal extension arm (38) projects to the front at either end of the frame, the two extension arms (35) joined to form a triangular support carrying a runner (36) at the bottom. The extension arms (35) are each approx. half the length of the U-shaped handle (11) which is in two hinged halves (16, 17) so that the two halves (16, 17) of the handle (11) can be folded over the extension arms (35), when the golf trolley is collapsed. The wheels may also be removed during stowage and fit beneath the folded halves (16, 17) of the handle (11).
