<p>The block of items comprises a stack of them enclosed in stretchable or shrunk sheet material to allow handling by a forklift truck without the aid of a pallet. On two of more opposite sides of the block (1, 2) ribs (5) are enclosed in the shrunk sheet and parallel to the base, for engagement by the truck forks. They can be of corrugated or solid cardboard or plastic foam and situated roughly 2/3 rds. of the way up the block.</p> |
