<p>A bottle for medecine, esp. a bottle of the bellows type for use as storage vessel and as an applicator for medecine, has a bottle neck which consist of two parts. The first is a neck stump on the bottle with an external thread and the second is a cannula part. The first has a wide bore into which the bottom of the cannula part is inserted with a friction fit. The second has a narrow bore. A screw cap is long enough to enclose the cannula and close its free end, and has an internal thread for connection to the external thread on the neck stump. The cannula can then be removed before the bottle is filled so that much time is saved.</p> |
