Confectionery sorting and packaging system - prints pattern on transparent plastics sheet before forming item recesses

The system produces inserts accommodating assortments of partic. confectionery from deep-drawn plastic sheets, forming cup-shaped recesses of the different shapes and dimensions required. A transparent plastic sheet, on the side away from the recess openings before the recess are formed, is printed with a pointed peripheral decorative pattern round the edges of these recesses, and a background colour is printed on this pattern. The recesses are then formed in the sheet.
