Gas volumetric flow measurement for mixt. determination - using one regulator with restricted outlet end where critical gas flow speed is attained

A gas vol. measurement path with a large measurement range receives gas at a varying high pressure and passes it to the consumer point at constant low pressure. It is simplified in cnstruction and mode of operation compared to device using a gas quantity meter between two regulators. The cost is reduced and the device made more compact by dispensing with the downstream regulator. The measurement path has a narrowed tube end pref. in the form of a measurement aperture. Its free cross-section is chosen so that critical gas flow speed is reached in the narrow part before the maximum permissible vol. flow rate is reached in the measurement device. The regulator is connected to the measurement path as well as to the gas inlet and outlet pipes.
