<p>To provide a simple, light weight and small press provided with at least one reciprocating tool and wherein the operator may himself change the tool since it is easily accessible, the moving portion (122) of the tool (119, 122) is provided with three guiding elements (58, 70; 87, 90; 88, 91) of which two (87, 90; 88, 91) are provided with a play adjustment. It is provided a vertically sliding guide (68, 70) and two guides (87, 90; 88, 91) perpendicular to the first one. The tool comprises a punch (131) and a die (122), the die (122) and its support (73) being used as a drop-hammer and being guided vertically by means of a shaft (65) sliding into bushes (68, 70) and of two rollers (87, 88) fixed one to the other excentrically (84, 85). Upon rotation of the excentric rod (83) both rollers (87, 88) are pressed substantially without any play onto the two supports (90, 91). When the press is in operation the rollers (87, 88) roll onto the plane and vertical support. A wedge (22) may be moved between a fixed support (100) of the press and the movable die (122) defining the shape of the piece to be produced in order to remove the movable die (122) away from the fixed support (100) and to bring it close to the other portion (119) of the tool which determines the shape of the piece to be produce. </p> |
