The device is for lifting pipelines. It has a frame with a self propelled crane carriage, which can be moved along the pipeline, and a lifter which grips the pipeline and is connected with a support by means of hydraulic cylinders. The support (6) is in the form of two carrier shoes (17), which are symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axis of the pipeline (2) and are connected with the lifter (4) by crossrods (28). Each of the hydraulic cylinders is hinged to the lifter (4) at one end and at its other end is hinge connected to one of the carrier shoes (17) to turn this in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the pipeline (2).
