The interior rear view mirror is designed for use in a motor vehicle. It comprises a flat mirror surface connected to an inclined or curved surface portion such that the portion is nearer the driver than the surface. The portion may be a convex cylinder mantle portion. It may be pivoted relative to the surface. The intention is to give a greater degree of sideways vision than is obtd. with normal rear view mirror installations.
