<p>PURPOSE:To reduce cost and increase reliability by providing a running code plate for each shelf row and a lifting and lowering code plate for each shelf height. CONSTITUTION:When an address N is assigned, a calculation (address N-prevailing address) is made to determine whether the assigned address is positive or negative. If it is positive, an advance signal is produced, and if it is negative a retreat signal is produced. Also, at this time its absolute value is discriminated, whereby a high speed running signal C is produced if the absolute value is greater than ''1'' while a low speed running signal E is produced if the absolute value is ''1''. As a result, stacker crane 1 is driven in a given way. In the case of the high speed running, during running a reader 6 reads the code on a code plate 4 ro read address (N-M), whereupon deceleration is cuased to commence for proceeding to the low speed running. After proceeding to the low speed running E, the stacker crane 1 is stopped when the address N is read out. A filt platform is also operated in the same way for lifting and lowering.</p> |
