PURPOSE:To easily sing over again by a simple operation by detecting the movement of a pickup information read point by a block corresponding to a prescribed playing time, stopping the track jumping movement of the information read point in response to this detected output and commanding the resumption of the playing operation in constituting the subject player. CONSTITUTION:Individual mechanical parts are controlled to be driven by a controller 11 in response to various command from an operating part 12, and at the time of performing the key-in of a once-more key 12a of the operating part 12 during a disk performance for orchestral accompaniment, the information read point of the pickup 3 is brought back from the present read position toward the read-in direction so far as the prescribed playing time in accordance with a program stored in a ROM, and a carriage motor 4 is controlled to be driven via a motor driving circuit 13 to resume the performance from that position. This prescribed playing time is performed by detecting the number of tracks jumped over by the information read point of the pickup 3. In other words, it is performed based on a tracking error obtained in a tracking servo circuit 6 when the tracks are traversed by the information read point. By this method, it is easy to sing once more. |
