<p>PURPOSE:To remove effectively CO and NOX existing in smoke of tabaco by an inexpensive apparatus by arranging an ashtray, a blowing fan and CO and/or NOX removing agents in air passage within a casing. CONSTITUTION:A casing consists of an upper casing 1 provided with many air outflow pores 2, a lower casing 3 having an inflow port 4 and an intermediate casing 5. a blowing fan 7 and a driving motor 8 are provided in air passage 6. A detachable ashtray 16 is arranged opposite to the inflow port 4 within a bottom plate 14. A NOX removing agent 11 is placed in the upper stream of the passage 4. A CO removing agent 12 is placed in the downstream of the passage 4. The NOX removing agent 11 consists of an alkali such as NaOH, KOH, a cement, activated carbon powders and a polymeric binder. The CO removing agent 12 consists of a cement, an alkali and activated carbon powders. Either or both of the NOX removing agent 11 and the CO removing agent 12 is/are mounted detachably in the position orthogonal to the air flow direction.</p> |
