<p>A composite transistor device is described which comprises a field effect transistor having its transconductance multiplied by the current gain of a current mirror amplifier. The transconductances of such devices can be matched with an accuracy approaching that with which simple field effect transistors can be matched. The higher transconductances of the composite devices make possible a variety of new circuits with distinct performance advantages.</p> |
