A sliding glass door-wall employs a fixed panel and an active panel supported between a pair of jambs. The position of the fixed panel relative to the jambs and the direction of opening of the active panel may be reversed to accommodate different structural situations. Cam members disposed at midpoints on the top and bottom rails of the active panel cooperate with inwardly projecting cams formed on vertically extending frame panels projecting upwardly and downwardly from the sill and head as the active panels move to a closed position to force the active panel laterally against weatherstripping formed on the frame and the interlock stile of the fixed panel. The cam formations on the vertically extending frame panels are duplicated to allow reversability of the active panel.
|
