摘要 A method of stereoscopic color television, in which six independent signals of color-separated images carrying color information on the green, red and blue components (G1, R1, B1) of a first frame of a stereo pair and carrying color information on the green, red and blue components (G2, R2, B2) of a second frame of a stereo pair are separated at the sending end. The signals of color-separated images carrying color information on the green, red and blue components (G1, R1, B1) of the first frame of the stereo pair are converted, by means of matrixing, into a composite signal consisting of a signal carrying information on the green component (G1), a color signal carrying limited information on the magenta, red and blue colors a selective color signal carrying limited information on the green color. The signals of color-separated images carrying color information on the green, red and blue components (G2, R2, B2) of the second frame of the stereo pair are converted, by means of matrixing, into two signals. One of these signals consists of a signal carrying information on the red component (R2), a color signal carrying limited information on the green color and a color signal carrying limited information on the magenta and red color. The second signal consists of a signal carrying information on the blue component (B2), a selective color signal carrying limited information on the green color and a color signal carrying limited information on the magenta and blue color.
