PURPOSE:To raise the performance of treatment by lengthening the time of catalytic reaction and by enhancing the utilization rate of treated vapor by providing a diffuser pipe receiving mixed flow from the path for liquid to be treated in the inside of catalytic reaction tank. CONSTITUTION:The Venturi portion 7 is provided at the end of the path 2 for liquid to be treated, through which liquid to be treated is sent by pressure to the catalytic reaction tank 1, and the end opening 4 of the reacting gas supply path 3 is provided in the inside of the Venturi portion 7 in such a way as to open it toward the end portion 5 of the path 2. In the inside of the reaction tank 1, the diffuser pipe 8 of a divergent form, whose inside diameter is gradually increased from the inlet 9 to the outlet 10, is provided, and the inlet 9 of the pipe 8 is integrally connected to the end portion 5 of the path 2. Unreacted gas from the outlet 10 of the pipe 8 is collected in the upper portion of the reaction tank 1 to form the unreacted gas treatment layer 11 which is, in turn, led to the Venturi portion 7 and the inlet side of the pipe 8 through the communication path 12. At the inlet side of the pipe 8, the conical liquid guider 15 is arranged, and the end opening 16 of the communication path 12 is bored at the bottom of the liquid guider 15 in order to raise the ejecting action of mixed flow. |
