PURPOSE:To make the through hole of a mount bracket small by making a connection between an upper control rod and lower control rod through a tilting joint on a vehicle side opposing to a dash panel. CONSTITUTION:Control-rod tube 11 is fitted to support bracket 12 provided to steering colum 1, and control rod 13 is fixed to the lower end of tube 11; and the both form an upper control rod, which is axially moved or rotated according to the operation of change lever 14. Rod 13 couples with lower control rod 16 through tilting joint 12 on the vehicle room side opposing to a dash panel and rod 16 is inserted into a through hole provided to mount bracket 5 being slidable and rotatable through a bush. Consequently, rod 16 of bracket 5 can be made small for measures to insulate a sound. |
