PURPOSE:To prevent a printing head in motion from swing and printing pitches from deviation beforehand by supporting a carrier with a printing head by two guide rails under a special situation and sending it along a platen. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 4 is supported by a guide rail 5 in sliding or rolling friction contact and by three points of guiding rollers 11, 12, 13 along a guide rail 6. The guide roller 13 is located approximately in the middle of two rollers 11, 12 and pushed to the guide rail 6 elastically, so that vertical fluctuation is reduced exceedingly and deviations of the pitches between printing characters are decreased remarkably. |
