PURPOSE:To simultaneously make a plurality of copies in a no-impact printer with liquid ink, by casuing the heated ink to adhere to first recording paper and copying second and other succeeding paper by thermosensitive recording. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal A is applied to an ink gun 1 to selectively orient and eject heated ink particles 3 in a direction x. The ink particles adhere to first paper 5 so that a desired character image is formed on the paper 5. At the same time, the heat of the ink particles 3 is transferred to the paper 5 to melt solid ink 4 coated on the reverse side of the paper 5. The molten ink 4 adheres to the obverse side of second paper 6 to form the same character image thereon. |
