<p>PURPOSE:To cool thrust bearings effectively by blowing part of a cooling gas medium against them through a hole for guiding the gas medium, the hole being provided in such a way that it links a space containing the thrust bearings in a swash plate type chamber with an oil separating chamber. CONSTITUTION:The cooling gas medium inhaled from a sucking hole 11 is sucked in a cylinder bore 31 on its sucking side from passageways 13a and 13b through sucking chambers 14a and 14b. At this time, an oil part contained in the cooling gas medium is separated in the oil separating chambers 12a and 12b, and supplied to the bearings 4a and 4b through the holes 25 and 20. The oil that has threaded through the bearings enters oil pots 27a and 27b after passing through holes 24 and 26, and further enters the swash plate type chamber 29 via small holes 28a and 28b. The oil collected in a chamber 21 is then supplied from an oil supplying hole 22 to the thrust bearings 3a and 3b. In this case, guiding holes 17a and 17b for guiding the cooling gas medium are provided on the wall of the swash plate type chamber 29 so as to cool the bearings 3a and 3b effectively by directly sucking the cooling gas medium at a comparatively low temperature which is introduced from the suckig hole 11.</p> |
