PURPOSE:To lengthen the spark maintaining time, by providing No.1 and No.2 transistors whose switching operations are opposite to each other, and also providing No.3 transistor, which, synchronizing with the opening and closing of a point, turns on and off No.1 transistor. CONSTITUTION:No.1 and No.2 transistors T1 and T2 are connected in cascade so that their switching operations are opposed to each other. T1 is connected in series with No.3 transistor T3, which is turned on and off by the opening and closing of point P. When P is closed or opened, T1 is turned off and T2 is turned on. When P is opened or closed, first T1 is turned on and T2 is turned off, and high voltage is induced in the secondary side L2 of the booster coil. Subsequently, by impressing the back electromotive force produced in the primary side L1 of the booster coil on the base of T1, the switching operations of T1 and T2 are repeated, and thereby high voltage is induced in L2 continuously. |
