PURPOSE:To manufacture a colored picture which is free from fog and provided with remarkably high resolving power by preparing a special metal or an alloy layer on a dye containing layer on a supporter, radiating a high density light in the form of an image, then fixing to it a image receiving material and heating them. CONSTITUTION:A metal or its alloy layer of a 150-2000Angstrom thickness selected from Au, Ag, Al, Bi, Cd, Co, Fe, Ge, Se, Sn, Te, V, Zn on a dye containing layer arranged on a supporter is provided. The metal or the alloy layer is removed in the form of a spot light and then display primary material whose surface at least is composed of a dye receptive material is fixed to the recording material surface and heated. High resolving power is obtained by the color picture where the dye in the dye-containing layer is diffused in the image receiving material. |
