PURPOSE:To place recording paper flatly or cylindrically by winding on a drum, by providing a compensation means to cause ink particles radially ejected from the axis of a hollow shaft to draw parallel loci. CONSTITUTION:Bar magnets 35a, 35b are provided in face of each other between a gutter 17a and deflection electrodes 18a, 18b fitted with charging electrodes 19a, 19b in front of a nozzle plate 7. The intensity of the magnetic field between the bar magnets increases toward their ends. The direction of the magentic field at one end of each bar magnet is opposite to that at the other end. When an ink jet head 3 is rotated and ink particles are radially moved forth centering the axis of a hollow shaft 3 to pass through between the bar magnets 35a, 35b, the ink particles suffers from an electromagnetic force to collide against recording paper 15 perpendicularly thereto. |
