Process for hydrogenative cracking of naphthenic hydrocarbon oils. G4-. Consists of hydrogenating the oil (which contains at least 50% aromatics, such as from African crude oil) (a) over a hydrodesulphirzing catalyst (preferably an Al2O3 carrier, containing 1-5% Co, 3-20% Mo) at 100 kg/cm2 and 315-375 C; (b) over a splitting catalyst, Me latter containing 0.1-5% W, 0.1-14% Ni, 1-3% F2 on a SiO2-Al2O3 carrier (pref. 78% SiO2, 22% Al2O3) at 50-90 kg/cm2 and 270-390 C (c) the product of (b) is fractionated into 'liquefied gas', a light setroleum (of high iso C5 and C6 to n- C5 and C6 proportion) boiling range ending from 65-120 C, and a white spirit (boiling range ending 100-210 C, pref. 100-120 C), and a residual fraction which is recirculated in (b). |
