PURPOSE:To prevent the annealing deformation of cylinder, by providing hollow cylindrical body made of zirconium (alloy) for nuclear reactor in casing sticking closely and carrying out annealing under a specific condition introducing pressurized gas in the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The blind plate 4a, 4b are inserted into both tip end part of openings of the hollow cylinder 1 and the above body is closely furnished in the casing 3 composed of the upper and lower cover 6a, 6b and left and right blocking plate 7a, 7b. The above casing is put in the heating furnace kept at 400-800 deg.C and annealing treatment is carried out sending pressurized inactive gas at P kg/cm<2>, shown in the formula I, from the gas duct 9. But, K is a constant determined by the sectional shape of the cylinder having thickness; t mm, outer circumference length; L mm, pressure resisting force at annealing temperature; thetay kg/mm<2> and in case of n-gon, K is shown by the formula II and then, in case of round shape or oval, the value of K is 314. By the above method, forming or welding strain of the cylinder is removed and processing for reforming transformation after annealing is unnecessary. |
