<p>A container for use in a centrifuge where at times test tubes to be centrifuged must be enclosed when aerosols from the bacteria or virus cultures are to be prevented, consists of a tube, closed at one end and with an outer shoulder at the open end, with inner fittings for the test tubes. This tube is pref. made of alloy steel. A union nut with a female thread fits with its inner shoulder behind the shoulder on the tube. A cap with a male thread is screwed into it and sealed by an O-ring. Test tubes requiring enclosure can thus be treated in the same container with little delay.</p> |
