<p>A first float is used to shut off a first main passage for liq. connected to a delivery line, when a first predetermined level if reached, in a procedure for limiting the filling with inflammable liq. of a reservoir underground equipped with piping connections for joining to a supply such as a tank wagon. This first step is followed by selectively opening mechanically a second passage in parallel with the first. A third passage in series with the second passage is then closed automatically when the liq. in the reservoir reaches a second predetermined level higher than the first. To solve the problem of filling the reservoir to a first level leaving space to drain the flexible pipe from the tank wagon and the pipe connections above ground, and then to shut off the tank completely without its being filled to excess. The equipment takes up very little space and is simple in design. It works reliably without risk of breakdown even when filled by a high delivery pump.</p> |
