<p>The linkage transmits rotation from a gear box output shaft (1) to a parallel wheel axle (2) of a motor cycle. It comprises a rectangular arrangement of shafts with a rotary oscillating coupling (J) at each corner. Two parallel shafts (1, 2) comprise the output shaft and the axis respectively, the remaining shafts (18) comparing oscillating (2) links. The mechanism converts output shaft (1) rotation (F1) into link oscillation (F2) which converts into axle (2) rotation. Each coupling connects to a revolving shaft (1) via a pinned stub axle (12) at a angle (d). The stub axle rotates in the web of a 'U' section bridge (14) and sec stub axle (15) project normally from each bridge flange. The sec stub axles are rotatably mounted on the dia of a ring (17) to which a link attaches.</p> |
