The safety-unit lock for an alarm system comprises a lock case (7) which is covered with a front plate. The lock is a magnetic sliding lock which can be actuated by a magnetic key. For this purpose, magnetic rotors are incorporated in the immobilising bolt, and the magnetic key contains correspondingly arranged permanent magnets. Located in the lock case is a holding plate (10), on which microswitches are mounted. In the assembled state, the front plate presses onto the tongue of the microswitch (9) which triggers an alarm when the front plate is released. The microswitch (16) can be actuated by displacing the immobilising bolt and puts the alarm system into operation and blocks the latter when the immobilising bolt is pushed back. <IMAGE>
