<p>The remote controlled power unit (5) has a pulley wheel (17) and fixed belt (14) transmission to automatically open and close a door or window. It is for single or multi-leaf installations of the sliding or pivoting type. In the case of a side hung (3) pivoting door (2) a simple reduction motor (5) is mounted (6, 10) on the door, the door being pivoted as the motor traverses a pivoting (7) cantilever rail (4) under the action of the pulley wheel (17) traversing a rail-mounted fixed belt (14). An idling roller (18) transmits power to the rail, with minor idling rollers (11, 12) tensioning the belt and applying it to the drive pulley. The position of the door is dependant solely on the remote control unit which can be adapted to existing doors. It has a rocking motor mounting (6) with end of run contacts (20, 22) and rubber stops (19).</p> |
