PURPOSE:To constitute a multi-digit and multi-step type electronic counter in a simple connection relation by counting up to the preset value of 8 digits decided by two counter units and at the same time counting parallelly and simultaneous to one count signal through two counter units. CONSTITUTION:Counter unit 1 counts up to the maximum value and then transmits the carry signal to counter unit 2. And the preset output is generated from unit 2 when the count value of unit 2 reaches the preset value of preset circuit 200. Thus the output sent from preset circuit 100 is supplied to unit 1, and the count value reaches the preset value of 8 digits decided at circuits 100 and 200. In case change-over switches 103 and 104 are formed into the multi-step type, the output of circuit 100 is supplied to unit 1. At the same time, the count input is supplied to terminal 11 of unit 2, and thus units 1 and 2 count one count signal in parallel and simultaneously. In such way, a multi-digit and multi-step type electronic counter is realized in a simple connection relation. |
