The foldable drinking cup includes at least the edge of the drinking cup together with an adequate surface on both side walls extending from the edge to the base of the cup made from a stable material such as plastics or cardboard. This stable material is connected to a mixture material which forms both the covering and the base of the drinking cup and which consists of an aluminium alloy foil. The side walls of the drinking cup and the material reinforcing the edge of the container are fitted with folding lines (6) to facilitate the opening of the drink container.
