Automatic no=load disconnection circuit for braked IC engine - controls fuel supply depending on engine speed and position of accelerator pedal by measuring carburettor pressure

The no-load disconnection circuit uses the position of the vehicle's accelerator pedal and the speed of the engine to control the electromagnetic no-load throttle (or fuel injection pump). Two parallel switches are connected between the no-load throttle and the battery supply pole. The first switch opens when the accelerator pedal is against its front stop (i.e. not depressed); the second switch opens when the no-load speed of the engine is exceeded by a given amount. The speed of the engine may be measured by measuring the pressure in the fuel/air suction channel. The circuit therefore switches off the fuel supply whenever the engine is braked, thereby saving fuel.
