The cutting tool is intended for machining the periphery of a grinding disc. It carries at least two parallel layers (1, 2) of individual diamonds (3). The diamonds form the two outermost layers being arranged and/or machined such that the distance between their parallel outer surface is maintained between close tolerance limits.
