<p>A plant for the clarification and storage of slurries, specially from cyclones used in the treatment of left-over concrete mixes, consists of rectangular containers, arranged in pairs and with an overflow gutter along three sides. A submersible cylinder is suspended over the centre of each container on a cross arm and can be lowered in it to introduce the slurry in a tangential downward spiral. This requires little low capital investment and saves labour for the assembly and dismantling of parts.</p> |
