<p>The propelling pencil has a set of conical clamping tongues supported by spring pressure on an adjustable clamping ring. The clamping tongues are connected by a press button to a lead storage chamber movable in a longitudinal direction and a lead guide pipe adjoined to the rear by a lead brake. The clamping ring (9) has one or more axial slots, normally two slots which are located diametrically opposite to each other. The individual length of the slots is smaller than the total length of the clamping ring, with the slot openings being located on opposite sides to each other.</p> |
