<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound useful as prostaglandins or an intermediate therefor in high yield using an inexpensive raw material by carrying out continuous reaction of two components of a specific mixed complex used as a nucleophilic reagent with an alpha-substituted cyclopentenone derivative. CONSTITUTION:A complex expressed by formula I (R<2> is 1-10C substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or phenyl; Y is protecting group of hydroxyl group; the bond containing the dotted line represents single, double or triple bond) as a nucleophilic reagent is reacted with an alpha-rsubstituted cyclopentenone derivative expressed by formula II [w is (alpha-OZ, beta-H) or (alpha-H, beta-OZ); Z is protecting group of hydroxyl group; R<1> is 1-15C alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl], preferably at -80-0 deg.C to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula III [X is (alpha-H, formula IV) when W is (alpha-OZ, beta-H) and X is formula V, beta-H) when W is (alpha-H, beta-OZ)].</p> |
