<p>Hand grenade with explosive charge, detonator and safety lever has a cylindrical tail piece opposite the detonator which can be fitted over the muzzle of a rifle so that the safety lever is secured on the tail piece by a locking pin. The draw ring of the grenade is specif. loosened from its safety position so that when the rifle is fired the relatively heavy ring is caused to swing round by its own inertia which draws out the locking pin, which releases the firing pin, causing the detonator to operate.</p> |
